well I've been participating in "No Shave November" for quite some time now, i gotta say my face itches more than a pair of sweaty flesh potatoes after a long game of road hockey..... yikes.
Needless to say the scruff is uncomfortable, this is the longest it's been so far, but I'm not going to lie I'm really digging it.
might trim my jawline though, otherwise my face looks like a giant circle... which I don't think compliments anyone. Unless you're into circles, then all the more power to you I guess aha.
I submitted my resume to a few places, have yet to hear back though, which really tweaks my nose hairs, to be blunt. Not having a lot of work experience is a pain in the ass, I went from working at a cafe for almost a year, to working at a call centre for about 2 months to jumping right into college where I had no time for a job. Getting work in London anywhere is difficult, but it's even more difficult when you can't get a job working anywhere but a kitchen. I didn't go back to second year of Culinary arts for the reason that I hated it. Once I graduated first year, I couldn't be more relieved to get out of there. The kitchen is not for me.. at least not for a permanent job. I loved cooking, now I sort of resent it.
It's frustrating because no matter how detailed my resume is or no matter how good my interviews go, I always get "you don't have enough retail experience" or this or that. Obviously I'm not going to have that experience if no one bloody hires me!
UGH. Oh well, time to keep submitting, see ya buds later.
